NyArk Media is an Iceland based media production company focusing on interdisciplinary approach on storytelling via film, publishing, social media and other unknown future medias. Our aim is to cause positive impact on our audience.

Established in Iceland in 2016 by producer Anna Sæunn Ólafsdóttir, with the aim of creating film and media content with the ability to bring awareness and shed light, especially on social & environmental issues & feminism.

In 2021 Anna and Lea Aevars joined forces and have since been building a vision for a future production unit that serves to build grounds for women and marginalized people alike, as well as production servicing for high end clients. Anna and Lea have both served as presidents of the organisation Women in Film and Television Iceland, and with varied experience throughout all platforms in film, they create an effective duo that combines multitudes of skills and expertise, from script doctoring to complex budgeting.

Our objective is to build long lasting partnerships in the film and arts industries as well as to be a part of a sustainable filmmaking movement that encourages women and minority groups to take a larger part of leading roles in the former mentioned industries.
